Yakup Keskindag

Yakup is a senior software engineer based in Greater Manchester. For more than a decade he has built JavaScript and Python applications for enterprises, mid-sized companies and startups. He founded XenAI to work on one problem: making language model systems dependable enough for decisions that matter, beginning with the law.

He leads the lab’s research and engineering, teaches programming, data and AI, and mentors new developers. He is also a PhD researcher in small language models, studying how far they can be relied on in legal work. The lab runs almost entirely on tea.
